Morrow
Create character

Photo to 3D character: a sculpted look.

The 3D character preset uses rounded forms, soft light and a dimensional finish. The deliverable is a flat image of a character, suitable for reviewing a visual direction.

From your reference to a result.

  1. Upload a portrait

Use a clear photo and confirm the crop. Keep enough of the body visible if you need full-body framing.

  2. Choose 3D character

The creation link carries this preset to the studio. Clay and Blue porcelain are separate material looks, not additional model formats.

  3. Describe the image

Choose framing, clothing and a simple setting. Avoid asking for downloadable geometry in this image-only workflow.

  4. Save the image

Review the result and download the raster image. Use the separate three-view guide if you need additional reference views.

RECORDED EXAMPLE

What happened in this test.

Oct 13, 2026
The actual fictional adult reference used in this recorded test
Reference input
Actual result: Photo to 3D character
Actual output

This is one recorded result, not a guarantee for every reference.

Visible in the output

  • The provider returned one softly shaded, sculpted-looking 3D-style portrait; blonde hair, a cream top and the hand-on-cheek pose remain visible.

What this does not establish

  • The eyes appear green rather than the requested blue, and facial detail shifts from the reference; exact likeness and consistency across other inputs are untested.
  • The reference is a full homepage composition; the prompt selected its central adult character.
Test conditions and recorded prompt

Historical real Kie provider-only request using the formal livePrompt and model request schema; not an isolated full-site or production transaction.

Model: nano-banana-2-1. Operation: generate.

Recorded test prompt

Visual style (3d): Create a stylized 3D character render with rounded sculpted forms, smooth dimensional materials, soft studio lighting and gentle depth. Deliver a flat image, not a 3D model. Keep defining facial features and hairstyle recognizable from the reference where visible.. User request: Use only the large central adult blonde woman in the reference, with her recognizable blue eyes and wavy blonde hair. Ignore the four small example cards, arrows and graphic background. Create one character image with a simple background, no collage, no lettering.. Single image. Half body

Before you spend credits.

  • Outputs are 2D raster images. No mesh, geometry, rig, Blender file or rotatable model is delivered.
  • Soft sculpted forms can change the face and body proportions. Compare details with the reference rather than assuming exact identity.
  • For separate front, side and back images, use Character sheet. Those images still do not constitute a 3D model.

The starter grant covers one standard image. It is a trial, not unlimited free generation. Sets, editing and background removal have separate costs. Read the credit and failure answers.

Common questions.

Is this image-to-3D modeling?

No. It creates a 3D-looking picture, not an editable 3D asset. Use a dedicated modeling service if you need geometry, textures or a rig.

Can I use the result in Blender?

You can use a permitted image as a reference, but it does not include a ready-to-edit Blender character.

Can the back view be accurate from one portrait?

A front portrait does not reveal the back of hair or clothing. Generated additional views contain inferred details and require human review.
